This is not simply an unfired Arsenal SGL12-61. It is a complete factory time capsule — the rifle, its packaging, and every original wrapping preserved exactly as the shotgun left the Izhmash factory in Izhevsk, Russia. The original cleaning rod remains sealed in its factory wrapper, taped inside the box, untouched since the day it was packed.

Manufactured at Izhmash and imported into the United States by Arsenal Inc. / FIME Group of Las Vegas prior to the 2014 sanctions that permanently ended Saiga imports. With the import pipeline closed for over a decade and unfired examples disappearing into private collections, complete time-capsule SGL12-61s — with original Izhmash magazines, original paperwork, and original wrappings still in place — have become genuinely difficult to source at any price.

Why this one is different

The factory tape is still on the cleaning rod wrapper. The Izhmash mags are originals — not aftermarket — and there are two of them. The paperwork is complete. That level of completeness is hard to find. Equally well-suited to a long-term collection or a 3-gun build that you’d genuinely rather not open.
