EA-82 RPK Custom Kit Build

The EA-82 is Embach Armory’s improved version of the 5.56x45mm Yugoslavian M-82 light machine gun. Designed in the 1980s, the M-82 was developed by Zastava Arms as a further evolution of the M72B1 RPK reworked to fire 5.56x45mm ammunition.

• Similarities / Differences from the M72B1 RPK
  • Receiver: The EA-82 uses a the same 1.5mm bulged receiver design as the M72B1 RPK.
  • Barrel: It features the same external barrel profile of the M72B1 RPK which is a heavier, non-removable barrel with cooling fins near the front, helping with sustained fire.
  • Bipod: Equipped with a folding bipod, similar to the RPK.
  • Caliber: Chambered in 5.56×45mm, compatible with surplus Galil magazines and new production 5.56 AK magazines with light to no fitting.

• If you choose to have a shorter barrel or aftermarket stock installed, the original bipod and stock from the kit will be included with the completed rifle.
