EA-82 RPK — Custom Kit Build

$1,699.00

The EA-82 is Embach Armory’s 5.56 M72B1 — Christian Embach’s 5.56×45mm NATO take on the Yugoslavian M72B1 RPK, inspired by but distinct from Zastava’s M-82. Every EA-82 is hand-built to order from a genuine Yugo Wars–era surplus M72B1 parts kit, rechambered and rebuilt in 5.56: bulged receiver, heavy finned barrel, folding bipod — the M72B1 RPK pattern, reimagined as a modern 5.56 rifle. Not a reproduction. Christian’s own interpretation of the platform, built one at a time from a finite pool of surplus kits. ▸ The Build Each rifle is built one at a time on Christian’s bench — not pulled off a production line. Rivets are set on a hydraulic press, trunnions are pinned and squared, and the barrel is pressed and headspaced before final finish and function-check. Every build is inspected for correct rivet geometry, trunnion alignment, and sight indexing before it goes out. That’s the difference between a finished Embach rifle and a kit someone slapped together. ▸ Platform Details
  • Receiver: 1.5mm bulged, correct M72B1 RPK pattern
  • Barrel: Heavy, non-removable M72B1 profile with front cooling fins for sustained-fire duty
  • Bipod: Original folding bipod, correct RPK configuration
  • Caliber: 5.56×45mm — runs surplus Galil and new-production 5.56 AK magazines (light fitting, if any)
  • Parts Kit: Genuine Yugoslavian Wars–era surplus M72B1, rebuilt in 5.56×45
  • 922(r) Compliance: U.S.-made FCG, receiver, barrel, and muzzle device
▸ Build Options Every EA-82 is built to your spec — receiver pattern, barrel length, FCG, muzzle device, and finish are all configurable. If you select a shorter barrel or aftermarket stock, the original M72B1 bipod and fixed stock ship alongside the completed rifle. ▸ What’s Included
  • Custom-built EA-82 assembled to your specification
  • One new-production Bulgarian 45-round 5.56 magazine
  • Original surplus bipod and fixed stock (when an alternate configuration is selected)
▸ Ordering & Shipping Lead time: All custom EA-82 orders ship within 6–8 weeks from date of purchase. FFL required: This firearm must be shipped to a licensed FFL dealer.
