3-Position FRT Install Service

$750.00

Send us your stamped AKM, AK-74, or Yugo-pattern AK and we’ll convert it to a 3-position forced reset trigger — safe / forced reset / semi. The $750 service price includes all parts, labor, and consumables, and every rifle is installed and function-tested in-house for reliable operation before it leaves the shop. Performed personally by Christian Embach, federally licensed Type 07 manufacturer, Fairview, Texas.

How It Works

  1. Place your order. We’ll follow up with shipping instructions.
  2. Ship us your rifle.
  3. We install the 3-position FRT and test it for reliable function.
  4. We ship it back — directly to you if it’s your firearm, or to the FFL of your choice if it’s a newly purchased rifle that hasn’t yet transferred into your name. Return shipping is a flat $40.

Supported Platforms

  • Stamped AKM-pattern rifles
  • Stamped AK-74-pattern rifles
  • Yugo M70-pattern AKs (fixed and side-folding stocks — no underfolder rear trunnions)
  • Russian, Romanian, and Yugo-pattern RPKs

Have something not listed? Inquire before ordering and we’ll tell you straight whether your AK supports this modification.

Not Currently Supported

As of now, we do not offer this conversion for: AKs with underfolder rear trunnions, milled-receiver AKs, PSL-54s, M77s, or Galils.

Our Guarantee

FRT conversions are rifle-by-rifle work, and some guns fight it. If we can’t get your rifle running reliably in forced reset, we’ll return it in its original configuration and refund the full $750 — the parts and labor are on us. You pay only the $40 return shipping.

State Restrictions

Forced reset triggers are legal under federal law, but a number of states prohibit them. We cannot accept orders from, or ship completed rifles into, the following jurisdictions: California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, and Washington, D.C. State laws change — you are responsible for confirming FRT legality where you live before ordering. If in doubt, contact us first.
